I’m back with a super exciting winter print release! This is a special laser-cut giclèe print that will only be available from now until Nov 29 midnight PST. Rather than reproducing a complete painting this time, I thought it would be fun to make a print of one of my favorite details at original size, to give it a unique moment in the spotlight.
LTD Flower Wolf Lasercut Print

The Flower Wolf appeared from a distant corner of my subconscious while I was in the early stages of working on the painting “Snowblind”. He is a shy and timid thing, blooming in the darkest days of winter, his footsteps a wisp of blood across snow. He is rarely glimpsed, yet his presence is familiar, like the faintest scent of flowers in a frozen waste. His approach is the tingling buzz in your veins when you are on the cusp of a new invention.

Long after I started this painting, it occurred to me that
compositionally in the “Snowblind” painting, the Wolf occupies the same
space I did during the reference photoshoot. So perhaps he is a fragment
of me as well — a hot-house flower creature stealthily sneaking into
view.

Each print is signed and shipped by me personally, and comes in the template it was cut from, so its safe during shipping (or can be saved for framing!) The edition size is time-limited based on the order period, and this image will not be released as a giclee print again.

While supplies last, the prints will come with a one-of-a-kind watercolor palette from the "Stranger than Earth" Series, and a lasercut glitter moth also cut from the remnants of an original painting! There are only a handful of the moths & watercolor palettes, so don’t wait until the very end!

As I write this, I’m sitting in the branches of a sun-dappled oak
tree in the Melbourne Botanical Gardens, at the end of an amazing
adventure through New Zealand and Tasmania. Even this far away from
home, I feel so close and so thankful to all of you, who make it
possible for me to keep painting and keep pursuing whichever strange
direction art takes me next! I hope the season is filled with laughter
and love and creative endeavors for you.
