A preview of my solo show “Trip the Light Fantastic” for Modern Eden Gallery! The pieces represent a sea-change in my work and life, and here we dive into a few of the marvels that inspired them. These dream-like visions come from far-off lands and below the deepest ocean, in vivid color and dancing light.

A special look at "The Porcelain Collection", a set of hand-painted china plates by Redd Walitzki. These one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces feature motifs inspired by natural history and entomology. 

A glimpse at the artwork for Scope Miami Art Fair with Modern Eden Gallery in 2018. These pieces include figures in states of transformation, both physical and internal. 

I explore the full mixed-media process that results in one of my lasercut oil paintings. We look at "Overgrowth" for Corey Helford Gallery during each stage in the process, from photo reference, to drawing, watercolor, laser-cutting and final oil paint layers!

Preview of my solo-exhibition "The Midsommar Dream" at Haven Gallery in New York. This series was developed during a 2 month artist residency at AARK in Finland, and includes pieces from Finnish myth and imaginary creatures.

After 13 years in Seattle, it's time for a new adventure! This is a final artwalk event to celebrate my history in the city and say farewell. 

Print release for the "Flower Wolf" from the painting "Snowblind". He is a shy and timid thing, blooming in the darkest days of winter, his footsteps a wisp of blood across snow. He is rarely glimpsed, yet his presence is familiar, like the faintest scent of flowers in a frozen waste. His approach is the tingling buzz in your veins when you are on the cusp of a new invention.

Paintings for my show "Lush" at beinArt Gallery in Australia. These pieces were inspired by the Victorian Orchid hunters, and in this post I explore their history and share behind the scenes looks at the creation of the work. 

The process and creation of my solo exhibition "Stranger Than Earth" at Corey Helford Gallery. In this segment, we brave a storm both physical and emotional. I almost freeze to death photographing a frozen waterfall, and the series is completed.
